How braces are placed

Installation of bracket systems takes place in two stages:

Preparation: after consultation and examination of the oral cavity, if necessary, treatment of caries, foci of inflammation of the gums, teeth cleaning with ultrasound.
Installation: a special mouth expander is installed, the enamel is polished, a special restorative composition is applied. Then, with the help of special resistant glue, corrective structures are attached. In addition, each lock is covered with orthodontic cement. The whole process takes from an hour to an hour and a half (depending on the type of braces).
